Abel Gill

Associate

An Associate with the firm, Abel joined Adamson Associates in 2007

Abel’s strength lies in his dexterity in coordinating geometry and detail on projects featuring complex building envelopes.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo, he brings to our team over 25 years of professional experience in architecture in both a design and management capacity. His portfolio includes urban design and town planning, sports, recreation, entertainment, hospitality, commercial, residential and institutional facilities. Since joining Adamson, Abel has worked on several buildings that involve complex building envelopes combined with unique geometry and a high level of detail. These include the Elizabeth Line's Canary Wharf Station in London, the York University Transit Station and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station in Toronto, and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum. This broad range of assignments, together with his aptitudes for design, technical resolution, and team leadership, has enabled him to successfully manage and deliver many challenging projects.

In addition to Abel’s exceptional architectural and graphic design abilities, he is also a skilled photographer with his work appearing in Canadian Architect, Azure, Canadian Interiors, and the National Post.
